Concorde B is a very handsome black stallion with a superb temperament and tremendous presence. His very correct conformation lends to his tremendous athletic ability both over fences and on the flat. His build is very modern and sought after in today's sport horse with lightness in frame and solid bone structure for versatility and competition. His young career has shown success in both the hunter and jumper ring. His versatility and great bloodlines make him an excellent breeding prospect for any discipline. In 2007, his first foal crop was 100% premium with two First Premiums. He currently competes in the jumper division on the US circuit.
Concorde B is by the 'preferent' Dutch stallion Olympic Concorde who is by the famous, 'keur' and 'preferent' stallion Voltaire. His dam, the 'prestatie' mare, Flyer, is by Marco Polo, one of the most influential Dutch stallions in breeding and jumping mares. As an international show jumper with Jos Lansink, Olympic Concorde was the winner of the 1990 National Stallion Champions and Champions of the Netherlands in 1994. For several years, he was the sire with the most offspring at the World Breeding Championships for young horses. In the year 2001 Olympic Concorde was the youngest stallion ever to be awarded "preferent". In 2002, he was the number one producer of show jumpers by money won in the US with his offspring earning nearly $200,000. That same year, his sire, Voltaire was named the number one hunter producer in the US. In 2003 he was the leading jumping sire in the US. In 2004 he was named Horse of the Year in Holland.
Concorde B's dam, Treasure B, is by the Belgian import, Eros. He is sired by the remarkable thoroughbred sire, Alcanar xx who also sired the Belgian legend Saygon, sire of the Belgian international dressage champion, Mister Saygon. His grandsire, Flugel van la Roche, is one of the foundation sires of the modern Belgian Warmblood. Eros' dam herself is a national show jumping champion.
